MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Ukraine's joining the North Atlantic Alliance is unacceptable for Russia in any form whatsoever, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in comments on remarks by NATO’s former Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen about a partial Ukraine membership of the Alliance.

"We are repeatedly explaining our position on Ukraine's accession to NATO. <...> By parts or without certain parts - Ukraine's accession to the Atlantic bloc is unacceptable for Russia in any form," Zakharova told a briefing.

Earlier, The Guardian quoted Rasmussen in an indirect speech as putting forward a proposal for Ukraine to join NATO within the borders that Kiev controls.
