MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian troops and military hardware in 118 areas over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

"Operational/tactical and army aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groupings of forces inflicted damage on Ukrainian manpower and military equipment in 118 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russian forces repulsed four Ukrainian army attacks in the Kupyansk area, killing and wounding roughly 160 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the western battlegroup supported by air strikes, artillery and heavy flamethrower fires repulsed in their active operations four attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 30th, 54th and 57th mechanized brigades near the settlements of Zagoruikovka and Timkovka in the Kharkov Region. The enemy lost as many as 160 personnel killed and wounded and two motor vehicles," the ministry said.

"In the Krasny Liman direction, well-coordinated operations of units from the battlegroup Center, army aircraft strikes and artillery fire repulsed four attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 24th and 63rd mechanized brigades, 12th Azov special operations brigade [outlawed in Russia as a terrorist organization] and the National Guard’s 15th regiment near the settlements of Chervonaya Dibrova and Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The enemy’s losses in the Krasny Liman direction over the past 24 hours amounted to "150 personnel and a motor vehicle," the ministry specified.

Russian forces repelled two Ukrainian army attacks in the Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Donetsk direction, units of the southern battlegroup in interaction with aircraft and artillery repelled two enemy attacks near the settlements of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

In addition, Russian forces inflicted damage on amassed personnel of the Ukrainian army’s 28th mechanized, 77th airmobile and 241st territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Kurdyumovka, Razdolovka and Bogdanovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, it said.

"The enemy’s losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 205 personnel, two armored combat vehicles and two UAV control posts," the ministry reported.

Russian forces eliminated roughly 100 Ukrainian troops and a US-made counter-battery radar in the south Donetsk area over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the south Donetsk direction, units of the battlegroup East engaged in active operations and supported by aircraft and artillery inflicted damage by firepower on amassed personnel of the Ukrainian army’s 72nd mechanized and 79th air assault brigades in areas near the settlements of Nikolskoye and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in the south Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 100 personnel, three pickup trucks and a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station, the ministry specified.

Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian army attack in the Zaporozhye area, destroying roughly 40 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Zaporozhye direction, professional operations by units of the Russian battlegroup, air strikes and artillery fire repelled an attack by an assault group of the Ukrainian army’s 65th mechanized brigade near the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region. They also inflicted damage by firepower on amassed personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 117th mechanized brigade north of the settlement of Novopokrovka in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.

The enemy’s losses in the Zaporozhye direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 40 Ukrainian personnel and two motor vehicles, the ministry specified.

Ukraine’s military loses 60 troops in Kherson area over past day

Russian forces inflicted damage on Ukrainian army units in the Kherson area, killing and wounding roughly 60 enemy troops and destroying two howitzers over the past day, the ministry reported.

"In the Kherson direction, the enemy lost as many as 60 personnel killed and wounded, two pickup trucks and two Msta-B howitzers as a result of damage inflicted by combined firepower," the ministry said.

Russian air defenses down 10 Ukrainian UAVs over past day

Russian air defense forces shot down 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down ten Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Raigorodka and Sergeyevka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Spornoye and Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Novoye in the Zaporozhye Region and Noviye Lageri in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.

In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 534 Ukrainian warplanes, 254 helicopters, 8,881 unmanned aerial vehicles, 441 surface-to-air missile systems, 13,383 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,183 multiple rocket launchers, 7,073 field artillery guns and mortars and 15,237 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported.
