GENICHESK, November 13. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian self-propelled howitzer and amassed enemy troops in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, a spokesman for the regional emergency services reported on Monday.

"Dnepr battlegroup units inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower in the Kherson direction, destroying amassed adversary troops near the settlement of Krynki, a 2S3 Akatsiya motorized artillery system with ammunition near the settlement of Inzhenernoye and an enemy troop amassment in the area of Alyoshkinsky Island," the spokesman said.

The strikes killed 27 and wounded another two Ukrainian soldiers in the Kherson direction over the past 24 hours, he said.

In addition, Russian forces eliminated a Ukrainian army deployment site in the island zone and an enemy fire emplacement in the Kakhovka direction, the spokesman said.
