MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops destroyed six Ukrainian army command posts in the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Friday.
"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile troops and artillery wiped out six enemy military command posts in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlovka in the Kharkov Region, Stelmakhovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Yampolovka, Torskoye, Ivano-Daryevka and Pobeda in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and also 67 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 164 areas," the spokesman said.
Russian forces delivered a strike by precision weapons, eliminating over 300 foreign mercenaries in the Kharkov Region and the Donetsk People’s Republic in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"As a result of the strikes by precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces against the temporary deployment sites of Polish mercenaries in the area of the settlement of Velikiye Khutora in the Kharkov Region, as many as 200 militants were eliminated," the spokesman said.
Russia’s precision strikes in the areas of the communities of Seversk and Slavyansk in the Donetsk People’s Republic wiped out over 100 more mercenaries of the so-called foreign legion, and also one tank, two armored combat vehicles and eight motor vehicles, the general added.
The Ukrainian military made two unsuccessful attempts to attack in the Kupyansk area, losing about 30 troops and three infantry fighting vehicles, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian military conducted two unsuccessful attacks in the area of the community of Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic. The enemy was halted and pushed back to initial positions by artillery fire and active operations of Russian troops," the spokesman said.
As a result, Russian forces destroyed as many as 30 Ukrainian troops, three infantry fighting vehicles and four armored vehicles, the general specified.
Russian troops thwarted the Ukrainian army’s attacks in two populated areas in the Lugansk People’s Republic in the Krasny Liman area, eliminating over 70 enemy troops in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, preemptive operations by Russian troops inflicted damage by firepower on a Ukrainian company tactical group amassed for an advance in the area of the settlement of Stelmakhovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic. In addition, artillery fire and strikes by army aviation aircraft thwarted the enemy’s advance towards the community of Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
In the Krasny Liman area, the Ukrainian military lost as many as 70 soldiers killed and wounded, one tank, four combat armored vehicles and two pickup trucks in the past 24 hours, the general specified.
Russian troops repelled a counter-attack by a Ukrainian company tactical group in the Donetsk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, decisive actions by Russian troops in the area of the settlement of Bakhmutskoye repelled a counter-attack by a Ukrainian company tactical group. As many as 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks and three infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russian forces scattered and pushed back Ukrainian troops in the enemy’s attempt to counter-attack in the southern Donetsk area, Konashenkov reported.
"In the southern Donetsk area, the enemy made attempts to counter-attack the positions of Russian troops in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Novodonetskoye, and also Novodarovka in the Zaporozhye Region. The enemy was scattered and pushed back to initial positions by active operations of the defending forces and artillery fire. Over 50 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored vehicles and two pickup trucks were eliminated," the spokesman said.
Russian forces destroyed a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Vesyoloye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, an AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar of US manufacture was obliterated," the spokesman said.
Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian missile and artillery armament depot in the Zaporozhye Region in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Kamyshevakha in the Zaporozhye Region, a missile and artillery armament depot of the Ukrainian army was destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russian air defense forces destroyed five HIMARS and Olkha rockets and shot down four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the past 24 hours, air defense capabilities shot down four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near the settlements of Mirnaya Dolina, Vershina and Novoandreyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Zaliman in the Lugansk People’s Republic. They intercepted five rockets of HIMARS and Olkha multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the settlements of Kremennaya and Popasnaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 333 Ukrainian warplanes, 177 helicopters, 2,562 unmanned aerial vehicles, 390 surface-to-air missile systems, 6,813 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 902 multiple rocket launchers, 3,620 field artillery guns and mortars and 7,352 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
