UNSC emergency session on Ukraine scheduled for Nov 23 — Russia’s UN mission

UNITED NATIONS, November 23. /TASS/. An emergency session of the United Nations Security Council on Ukraine is scheduled for Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. EST (24.00 Moscow time), Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said.

"Today, having been frightened by our strikes on their infrastructure, the Ukrainians have requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Vladimir Zelensky was again announced as the speaker for Ukraine by video link, in breach of the rules of procedure of the Security Council," the diplomat wrote on his Telegram channel.

"The Ghanaian presidency of the Security Council has scheduled it for 4:00 p.m. New York time (midnight in Moscow - TASS). It (Ghana’s presidency - TASS) has not yet announced its decision on clearance for Zelensky," he added.
