Earlier reports said that the Ukrainian army continued to shell cities on the left bank of the Dnieper - Golaya Pristan, Alyoshki, Kakhovka and Novaya Kakhovka

GENICHESK, November 23. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army is constantly attacking Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson Region with artillery pieces and heavy machine guns, the head of the Novaya Kakhovka urban district, Vladimir Leontiev, told TASS on Wednesday.

"They are using 120-milimeter mortars, 152-millimeter heavy artillery, and [large-caliber] machine guns. Their strikes against the city continue non-stop. Cultural facilities, those that had remained intact until just recently, are now damaged. All medical establishments, everything absolutely. That’s what the situation is like. Unfortunately, people continue to suffer and live under bombardments," Leontiev said.

Despite the shelling, medics, Emergency Ministry personnel and the crisis management center keep working. The local people continue to be paid social benefits.

Gas services on November 22 restored disrupted gas supply to five communities in the district.

Earlier reports said that the Ukrainian army continued to shell cities on the left bank of the Dnieper - Golaya Pristan, Alyoshki, Kakhovka and Novaya Kakhovka. The shellings are daily. Civilian facilities and local residents are under fire.
