Officials in Dnepr, Odessa Region confirm blasts at critical infrastructure facilities

Entire Ukraine is currently on alert for missile strikes

KIEV, November 17. /TASS/. Several explosions took place at critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine’s Dnepr (former Dnepropetrovsk), and a blast rocked a vital infrastructure facility in the Odessa Region, local officials reported on Thursday.

"There were several hits on two infrastructure facilities. Rescuers are currently liquidating the consequences," deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential office Kirill Timoshenko wrote on his Telegram channel.

"An infrastructure facility in our region was hit," Odessa Region Governor Maxim Marchenko said on his Telegram channel.

According to RBC Ukraine, the explosion occurred at a power station there. Blasts causing power outages were reported in Dnepr by Ukrainian media earlier on Thursday.

Entire Ukraine is currently on alert for missile strikes.
