Situation on Lugansk front complex, all Ukrainian army attacks repelled — LPR militia

It is noted that the Ukrainian military command considers precisely the Lugansk direction as a priority area and spares no forces and resources there and is acting regardless of casualties

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military has amassed major forces on the Lugansk front and is actively attempting to break through the defense lines, with Russian troops repelling all the attacks, Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) militia officer Andrey Marochko said on Wednesday.

"The Lugansk frontline is the most complex and the tensest direction. These are the Kupyansk, Krasny Liman, Artyomovsk and Debaltsevo areas. Now the enemy is concentrating its basic forces on us and has been trying to break through our defense line for quite a long time. Up to now, our fighters in the outskirts of the settlement of Svatovo are repelling the enemy’s regular attacks," the officer said in a live broadcast on the Soloviev Live TV Channel.

As the reconnaissance data show, the Ukrainian military command considers precisely the Lugansk direction as a priority area and spares no forces and resources there and is acting regardless of casualties, Marochko said.

"In the past three-four days, we have observed the [Ukrainian] battlegroup’s reinforcement actually along the entire line of engagement. We have observed strike groups being reinforced by armored units," the officer stressed.
