MELITOPOL, November 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military will make an attempt at seizing the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP) by a river assault force and a simultaneous strike against Energodar, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, told TASS on Tuesday.

"Two components [of the Ukrainian military’s plan] in the Zaporozhye direction: to cut through our battlegroup, advance to Berdyansk and seize the Zaporozhye NPP. As for the Zaporozhye NPP, the plan is to advance through Vasilyevka and cross the Dnieper," the regional official said.

"I believe that these will be simultaneous actions, to all appearances. The Ukrainian military has repeatedly made attempts to cross the Dnieper and seize the nuclear power plant. Now they are training and the recent delivery of armored boats corroborates these plans," he added.

"These are expected plans and our fighters are digging trenches and we are preparing for serious defense in the Zaporozhye direction," Rogov said.
