Kherson authorities refute Ukrainian claims of gaining new foothold

It is reported that populated locality is being shelled but there weren’t, aren’t and won’t be any Ukrainian troops

GENICHESK, November 15. /TASS/. The press service of Kherson’s regional administration said that information about Ukrainian troops entering the town of Alyoshki on the left bank of the Dnieper River was a fake news item.

On Monday and overnight on Tuesday, Ukrainian media outlets and Telegram channels were writing about alleged successful attempts by Ukraine’s armed forces to gain a foothold on the Dnieper’s left bank. In particular, some media outlets reported that Alyoshki was taken by Ukrainian troops.

"The Ukrainian side’s statements are false. The populated locality is being shelled but there weren’t, aren’t and won’t be any Ukrainian troops. This is a fake news item which the Ukrainian side is using in an attempt to confuse people," the press service told reporters on Tuesday.
