Houses, power lines, gas pipeline damaged by Ukrainian shelling in Stakhanov — authorities

It is noted that Ukrainian forces shelled Stakhanov with HIMARS systems twice Wednesday night

LUGANSK, November 10. /TASS/. Residential buildings, power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged by Ukrainian shelling in the city of Stakhanov, in the LPR, with US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, the city administration reported Thursday.

"There is damage to residential buildings, an outdoor gas pipeline and power lines. Specialists are rushing to repair the damage," the administration said on its Telegram channel.

Stakhanov mayor Sergey Zhevlakov, Ministry of Emergency Situations specialists and city emergency services departed to the scene. Under Zhevlakov’s orders, utility company employees are being organized in brigades to provide aid to the damaged houses’ residents in order to mitigate the consequences of the shelling.

According to the LPR Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers have extracted a man from under the rubble.

"It’s a miracle that the man was not injured. He refused hospitalization after the initial examination," the Ministry said.
