At least 300 UK-trained Ukrainian militants arrive in Zaporozhye — politician

They were joined by almost 300 new arrivals and currently they are all constantly preparing for crossing the Dnieper, gaining a foothold and seizing a large industrial facility, Vladimir Rogov, chair of the We Are Together with Russia movement said

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. About 300 Ukrainian militants trained in the UK have recently arrived in the city of Zaporozhye in order to renew attempts to capture the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Vladimir Rogov, chair of the We Are Together with Russia movement, told the Zvezda TV channel on Wednesday.

"I have already said that there were more than 450 people belonging precisely to the special-ops forces, the so-called elite of the Ukrainian army, who were undergoing training in the vicinity of Volnoandreyevka (a populated locality in the Zaporozhye Region - TASS). They were joined by almost 300 new arrivals and currently they are all constantly preparing for crossing the Dnieper, gaining a foothold and seizing a large industrial facility. <...> So we are observing at least 700 people trained precisely to storm and seize a nuclear station," he said.

About 7,000 Ukrainian troops trained in the West have been deployed recently on the Zaporozhye front, Rogov told.

On Monday, he reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was ready to send all his forces into combat without caring at all about reserves and about 13,000 men who had returned after training at the Western training grounds, primarily in Britain and Poland, were not sent to form a second, so-called reserve corps near Lvov, but were dispatched immediately to the areas of Kherson and Zaporozhye.

"I would like to specify that not all of these 13,000 were sent to us. This is the group that underwent training and was supposed to form a second reserve corps in Lvov but they were literally tossed into a meat-grinder. About half and half: one half was dispatched to us, about 7,000, and about 6,000 - to the Kherson front," the politician said.
