Russian strike drone wipes out Ukrainian tank hiding in urban area in Ukraine operation

The video footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry shows a T-64 tank hiding behind a technical facility and high-rise apartment blocks are also seen

MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Russia’s Defense Ministry uploaded video footage showing a strike drone obliterating a Ukrainian tank hiding in an urban area and shelling Russian troops.

"Militants of the Ukrainian army made an attempt to deliver fire from the tank hiding behind industrial buildings against Russian troop positions. A Russian squad of unmanned aerial vehicles spotted the Ukrainian tank and destroyed it using a precision strike," the ministry said.

The video footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry shows a T-64 tank hiding behind a technical facility and high-rise apartment blocks are also seen. Another Russian drone spotted and directed a kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle towards the target and registered a direct hit at the tank.

In late October, Russia’s Defense Ministry showed video clips of Russian-made Lancet kamikaze drones hitting a Ukrainian Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system and two American M777 howitzers. In general, when speaking to TASS, Denis Fedutinov, an expert in unmanned aerial platforms revealed that Russian troops have begun to use kamikaze drones more intensively in the special military operation in Ukraine, capitalizing on their combat capabilities.
