Russian special services foil terror plot against Zaporozhye plant, security chief reveals

It is reported that IAEA delegates are at the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, they see what is going on there, and who is shooting and from where

MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Russian forces have prevented a terrorist attack targeting the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the country's Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said on Thursday.

"We have received information that our special services thwarted a terrorist attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant," he said, speaking on Thursday at a meeting of the Secretaries of CIS Security Councils.

Patrushev stressed that "Ukrainian neo-Nazis (the Ukrainian armed forces - TASS), using Western weapons, continue to fire at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which could lead to a global catastrophe." "Unfortunately, the visit of an IAEA (the International Atomic Energy Agency - TASS) delegation to the plant did not lead to a cessation of the attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant or any international condemnation of the Kiev regime," he lamented.

According to the Security Council Secretary, IAEA delegates are at the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, they see what is going on there, and who is shooting and from where. "However, no one talks about the fact that Ukrainian troops are shelling the nuclear power plant, while the media hypes it up, pinning the blame on Russia. The statement by [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky about a preventive nuclear strike on Russia confirms the ineptitude of Ukraine's current leadership," Patrushev noted.
