MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Western countries are constantly ramping up tools to support the non-systemic opposition, instigate separatism and escalate conflicts in other countries, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said at a meeting of CIS security chiefs on Thursday.
In this situation, the information sphere remains one of serious sources of threats in the post-Soviet space, the Russian security chief said.
"Western countries are constantly ramping up the entire set of available hybrid tools intended to impose liberal values, finance the non-systemic opposition, instigate inter-ethnic strife and separatist sentiments, escalate inter-confessional and ethnic conflicts and implement the scenarios of color revolutions," he pointed out.
Washington-controlled non-governmental organizations, media outlets and opposition leaders continue to act as their vanguard, Patrushev said.
