The Ukrainian military continues bombarding the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP) and a visit by a delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to the station has not halted shelling attacks, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said at a meeting of CIS security chiefs on Thursday.

"Ukrainian Neo-Nazi forces continues shelling the Zaporozhye NPP from Western weapons, which may lead to a global catastrophe. Unfortunately, a visit by the IAEA delegation to the station has not led to the cessation of the attacks on the Zaporozhye NPP and the condemnation of the Kiev regime by the international community," Patrushev said.
