Ukrainian military suffers up to 50 casualties fighting LPR forces in past 24 hours

Sapper units had searched and cleared more than nine hectares near Vishnyovoye and Stepovoye from explosive objects on November 1

DONETSK, November 2. /TASS/. Ukraine’s military casualties amounted to about 50 in battles with the forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past 24 hours, Ivan Filiponenko, LPR defense ministry spokesman, reported on Wednesday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of active offensive actions of the LPR People’s Militia. Up to 50 troops were killed, and a tank, three armored personnel carriers and 13 specialized vehicles were wiped out," the People’s Militia said on its Telegram channel citing Filiponenko.

The spokesman added that sapper units had searched and cleared more than nine hectares near Vishnyovoye and Stepovoye from explosive objects on November 1.
