LPR militia reports eliminating about 80 Ukrainian militants in Donbass in past day

In the past day, LPR field engineers combed and cleared over seven hectares of land from explosives planted by the Ukrainian military in the areas of the settlements of Omelkovo and Novoomelkovo

LUGANSK, November 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered about 80 casualties in battles with forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past day, Spokesman for the LPR People’s Militia Ivan Filiponenko reported on Tuesday.

"In the past 24 hours, the enemy sustained heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of active offensive operations by LPR people’s militia forces. They eliminated up to 80 personnel, 3 tanks, 5 armored personnel carriers, 9 special motor vehicles and 3 unmanned aerial vehicles," the press office of the LPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying.

In the past day, LPR field engineers combed and cleared over seven hectares of land from explosives planted by the Ukrainian military in the areas of the settlements of Omelkovo and Novoomelkovo, the spokesman said.
