MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed a German Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) self-propelled artillery gun in the Kherson Region in the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Monday.
"Over 70 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, five combat armored vehicles, seven motor vehicles and one German Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery gun were destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russian troops eliminated over 60 Ukrainian militants in the Donetsk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
Russian troops continued active operations in the Donetsk area, the spokesman specified.
"Assault units of Russian troops and artillery eliminated over 60 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, two combat armored vehicles and two motor vehicles in the past day," Konashenkov reported.
Russian troops eliminated over 110 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries in the Kupyansk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops struck two Ukrainian company tactical groups and also formations of foreign mercenaries in the areas of the communities of Orlyanka in the Kharkov Region, Nikolayevka and Kuzemovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
During the fighting, Russian troops eliminated over 110 Ukrainian servicemen and militants, one tank, three combat armored vehicles, two pickup trucks and two motor vehicles, the general specified.
Russian troops pushed Ukrainian army units back to initial positions after the enemy’s four unsuccessful attempts to attack in the Nikolayev-Krivoi Rog area, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Nikolayev-Krivoi Rog direction, the Ukrainian military made four attempts to attack by company tactical groups in the areas of the settlements of Pyatikhatki, Chervony Yar, Ishchenka and Zelyony Gai in the Kherson Region. As a result of damage inflicted by firepower and decisive operations by Russian troops, the enemy was pushed back to its initial positions," the spokesman said.
Russian forces repelled the Ukrainian army’s attacks in the Krasny Liman area, eliminating over 170 militants in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, the enemy’s three company tactical groups attempted to conduct offensive operations towards the settlements of Makeyevka and Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic. All the enemy’s attacks were repelled," the spokesman said.
During the combat engagement, Russian troops destroyed over 170 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, five armored combat vehicles and nine motor vehicles, the general specified.
Russian troops struck all the designated military command and energy infrastructure targets by long-range precision weapons in the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
"The Russian Armed Forces continued delivering strikes by air-and sea-based long-range precision weapons against Ukrainian military command and energy sites," the spokesman said.
Russia’s precision weapons hit all the designated targets, the general said.
"All the designated targets were struck," Konashenkov reported.
Russian troops destroyed four Ukrainian army ammunition depots in the past day, he said.
"Four ammunition depots were obliterated in the areas of the settlements of Novaya Kamenka and Novoaleksandrovka in the Kherson Region, Terny and Kolodezi in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops struck eight Ukrainian army command posts in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"in the past 24 hours, operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops hit eight Ukrainian army command posts in the areas of the settlements of Omelnik, Preobrazhenka, Zaliznichnoye and Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye Region, Bereznegovatoye, Kaluga, Chervony Yar and Murakhovka in the Nikolayev Region, and also 57 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 136 areas," the spokesman said.
Russian air defense forces intercepted four HIMARS and Olkha rockets and seven HARM anti-radar missiles in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"Four rockets of HIMARS and Olkha multiple launch rocket systems were intercepted in the air, and also seven HARM anti-radar missiles in the areas of the settlements of Novaya Kakhovka and Antonovka in the Kherson Region," the spokesman said.
As the general specified, "air defense capabilities shot down 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Popasnaya and Novonikanorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Mechnikovo in the Kharkov Region, Volnovakha, Kirillovka and Nikolskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kazatskoye in the Kherson Region."
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 328 Ukrainian military aircraft, 167 helicopters, 2,393 unmanned aerial vehicles, 384 surface-to-air missile systems, 6,213 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 879 multiple rocket launchers, 3,540 field artillery guns and mortars and 6,920 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
