Russian Investigative Committee probing into shelling in Belgorod region from Ukraine

On April 14, several villages in Russia’s Belgorod region came under shelling from the Ukrainian territory

MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee said on Friday it is probing into shelling of the Russian Belgorod region from Ukraine.

"The Investigative Committee chairman (Alexander Bastrykin - TASS) has issued an order to investigate the shelling attacks of Belgorod region’s settlements from the Ukrainian territory. He instructed to identify all those responsible for the shelling attacks and bring them to criminal liability," it said.

Several villages in Russia’s Belgorod region came under shelling from the Ukrainian territory on April 14. According to regional authorities, more than 20 residential houses and a school were damaged in the village of Zhuravlevka. One local resident was wounded. An emergency situation regime was imposed in Zhuravlevka and Nekhoteyevka on Marcch 23.
