Six civilians may be held hostage by Ukrainian saboteurs in Bryansk Region

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Six residents of the Bryansk Region may be held hostage by the Ukrainian saboteurs who infiltrated into two local villages from Ukraine’s Chernigov Region, the defense circles told TASS on Thursday.

"Two villages, Lyubechane and Sushany, located in the Klimovsky district were attacked by the saboteurs. Currently, up to six civilians are being held hostage," the defense circles said.

The defense circles did not specify the number of the Ukrainian saboteurs who had penetrated into the Bryansk Region, adding that there were several dozen armed militants there.

"A gunfight is underway," the defense circles said.
