KIEV, November 25. /TASS/. Power outages are taking place in Kiev on Friday, the Ukrainian energy supply company YASNO reported.

"In Kiev, Ukrenergo instructed to implement emergency shutdowns. Shutdown schedules are temporarily off until the situation is stabilized," the company said in a statement on its website.

According to the city administration, buses are running instead of trams on seven routes in Kiev.

As the Ukrainian media outlet Dumskaya notes, emergency power outages are also in effect in Odessa.

Ukraine issued an air raid warning on Wednesday, which lasted more than two hours. Reports of explosions and damage to infrastructure came from Dnepr, Kiev, Lvov, Nikolayev, Odessa, Kharkov and other cities. According to the Ukrainian Energy Ministry, all three Kiev-controlled nuclear power stations were cut off from electricity supply. Outages also affected most thermal and hydro power plants, while some electricity grid facilities sustained damage.
