MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Five people, including three children, were wounded in a Ukrainian shelling attack on the Guyevo settlement in Russia’s Kursk Region, Governor Roman Starovoit wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out an artillery attack on the Guyevo border settlement in the Sudzha District. Five people, including three kids, suffered wounds. All of them were taken to the hospital, their lives are not at risk," the governor said.

He added that the shelling damaged several homes in the settlement, as well as a grocery store. "Windows were shattered and wires were destroyed, so the settlement is currently without electricity. Maintenance teams will soon start repair efforts," Starovoit noted.
