Russia supplied around 2.2 mbd of oil to India in June

MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. Russia remained the largest oil supplier to India in June 2026, with exports totaling 2.2 mln barrels per day (mbd), OPEC reported.

Specifically, Russia supplied around 2.2 mbd of oil to India in June, up from 2.1 mbd in May. The UAE was second in terms of supplies to India with 574,000 barrels per day (bpd), followed by Saudi Arabia with 441,000 bpd, according to an OPEC report, citing Kpler data.

India’s total oil imports fell in June compared to May, averaging 4.78 mbd, down from 5.29 mbd in May.

Moreover, China’s oil imports in June fell from 7.72 mbd to 7.08 mbd, which is 41% lower than in June 2025. Russia remained the largest oil supplier to China, with its share of supplies rising to 28% in the reporting period, while Brazil and Saudi Arabia accounted for 14% and 12%, respectively.
