Three regions to be part of special economic zone — Russian PM

The government will consider two draft laws extending the special economic zone to three regions at the least, Mikhail Mishustin said

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. The free economic zone regime effective in Donbass and Novorossiya will also cover at least Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk Regions, Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin said at the Cabinet meeting.

The free economic zone conditions are effective in four new regions, Mishustin noted. "At the same time, neighboring regions also certainly require additional support," he added.

The government will consider two draft laws extending the special economic zone to three regions at the least, Mishustin said. "Relevant adjustments are to be made in the Tax code and in laws on free economic zones, to simplify private capitals’ raising for industry, logistics, and the information technology sphere," the Prime Minister stressed.
