MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Kamaz will produce 12 more self-driving trucks for carrying cargoes on the M-11 Neva highway by this September, a source close to the Russian Transport Ministry told TASS.
"Kamaz will ensure the production of 12 remotely piloted trucks by September," the source said.
Nine self-driving vehicles currently operate on the M-11 highway, including six trucks from Kamaz and three units from SberAutoTech. Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said earlier that their number would increase to 43 by the end of the year.
Russian self-driving trucks produced by Kamaz and SberAutoTech started haulage carrying commercial cargoes last summer.
