Russia exported over 15 mln metric tons of grain as part of grain deal — First Deputy PM

Supplies are being made in the first instance to developing and the poorest countries

BANGKOK, November 18. /TASS/. Russia has exported more than fifteen million metric tons of grain as part of the grain deal and a huge volume of mineral fertilizers, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov told reporters on Friday.

"Russia has already exported more than fifteen million tons of grain and an ample quantity of mineral fertilizers. Supplies are being made in the first instance to developing and the poorest countries, especially as regards grain - over 90% of supplies are to African and Southeast Asian countries," Belousov said.

"I can say grain prices have recently stabilized and even declined, in particularly owing to fairly sensible deliveries of Russian grain. Much more concerns at present are in respect of the situation on the mineral fertilizer market," the official added.
