Six ships pass through Black Sea corridor to Ukrainian ports during day — JCC

Thirteen loaded vessels are waiting for an inspection in Turkey’s territorial waters

UNITED NATIONS, November 8. /TASS/. Six ships have passed through the Black Sea humanitarian corridor to Ukrainian ports and eighty more vessels are waiting for a permit to get moving, the Istanbul-based Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said on Tuesday.

Apart from that, according to the JCC, thirteen loaded vessels are waiting for an inspection in Turkey’s territorial waters.

A ship with 43.250 tons of sunflower oil left Ukraine’s port of Yuzhny for China on Tuesday. The JCC inspected ten ships: eight heading for Ukraine and two leaving Ukrainian ports.

Ten vessels are to be inspected on November 9.

As of today, the total tonnage of grain and food stuffs moved from the Ukrainian ports under the Black Sea Initiative exceed ten million tons.
