Russian Security Council Secretary, PM of Myanmar discuss situation in Asia Pacific

MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev, who is currently visiting Myanmar, had a meeting with Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Administration Council of this country Min Aung Hlaing.

"Nikolay Patrushev was received in Naypyidaw by Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Min Aung Hlain," the Security Council press office announced, noting that the sides "had an exchange of opinions on the situation in the Asia Pacific region, as well as on the topic of ensuring peace and stability in the republic."

In addition, the sides reviewed issues of Russian-Myanmar cooperation in defense and security, trade and economy and cultural relations.
