MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. The Russian air defenses shot down three Ukrainian army aircraft over 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Air defense assets downed three aircraft of the Ukrainian air force over 24 hours: two Su-27 airplanes in the area of Novoraisk and Velikaya Alexandrovka settlements of the Kherson Region, and a MiG-29 airplane in the area of Pyatikhatki of the Dnepropetrovsk Region," the ministry said.
The Russian troops also engaged an arsenal with aviation munitions of the Ukrainian army in the Cherkassy Region, the ministry informed.
"Tactical and army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, rocket troops and artillery of battlegroups of the Russian Federation Armed Forces engaged jet fuel storage facilities of the Ukrainian army in the Poltava Region, an aviation munitions arsenal in the Cherkassy Region, manpower and materiel of the enemy in 128 areas," the ministry noted.
Aviation, artillery and units of the Russian Armed Forces delivered a fire strike against manpower of the Ukrainian mechanized brigade in the Zaporozhye Region, it added.
