MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. The Russian air defense assets intercepted fifty-three Ukrainian drones over 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

"Seventeen rocket projectiles of the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system were intercepted over 24 hours. Furthermore, 53 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed," the ministry informed.

Units of the Battlegroup East thwarted an attack of the Ukrainian assault team in the South Donetsk area, the ministry added.
