Russian army repels 6 attacks in Donetsk area, Ukrainian army loses more than 240 troops

MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Donetsk direction exceeded 240 servicemen killed and wounded over past 24 hours, the Russian military repelled six attacks, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"In the Donetsk direction, units of the Battlegroup South, with the support of artillery and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled six attacks by assault groups of the 24th mechanized, 5th assault and 95th airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Shumy and Maryinka of the Donetsk People's Republic. Also, the manpower and equipment of the 112th, 114th and 241st territorial defense brigades, as well as the 28th and 30th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces in the areas of Andreyevka, Vasyukovka, Razdolovka, Bogdanovka, Artyomovsk, Krasnoye, Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheyevka of the Donetsk People's Republic were defeated," the ministry said.

According to the Defense Ministry, the total enemy losses in this direction amounted to more than 240 military personnel killed and wounded, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, 2 vehicles, and an Msta-B howitzer.
