Russian troops wipe out Ukrainian howitzer, enemy personnel in Kherson area

According to a representative of the operational services of the region, formations of the Dnepr group of troops also eliminated the position of one of the enemy units in the Kakhovka direction

GENICHESK, November 12. /TASS/. Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian howitzer and amassed enemy personnel in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, a spokesman for the regional emergency services reported on Sunday.

"Dnepr battlegroup units inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower in the Kherson direction, destroying amassed adversary manpower near the settlement of Krynki, a 120mm mortar with its team and ammunition near the settlement of Tyaginka, a Ukrainian army position near the settlement of Antonovka," the spokesman said.

In addition, Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian D-30 howitzer in the island zone and a Ukrainian fire emplacement in the Kakhovka direction, he said.

On November 11, the Ukrainian military fired 111 artillery shells against the left bank of the Dnieper River. The Ukrainian army’s bombardments also targeted the settlements of Obryvka, Krynki, Alyoshki, Staraya Mayachka, Kardashinka, Kazachiy Lageri and Dnepryany, the spokesman said.

"Over the past night, the Kiev regime continued shelling civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Novaya Kakhovka, Kakhovka, Krynki, Peschanovka, Kazachiy Lageri, Sagy and Noviye Lageri, firing a total of 34 artillery rounds. Casualties among civilians are being specified," the spokesman said.
