DPR head says mop-up of Kurdyumovka now underway

On Wednesday, Gorlovka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko announced the liberation of Kurdyumovka

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. A mop-up operation in the Donetsk People’s Republic’s (DPR) Kurdyumovka settlement is now ongoing, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said.

On Wednesday, Gorlovka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko announced the liberation of Kurdyumovka. According to him, this gives the allied forces full control of the Gorlovka-Artemovsk highway.

"There are certain successes in the Avdeyevka direction as well. <...> The mop-up of Kurdyumovka is underway. <...> Also our units are advancing in the area of Dzerzhinsk," he said during a Channel One TV broadcast.

The settlement of Kurdyumovka is located to the north of Donetsk. The Ukrainian armed forces regularly shelled Gorlovka and adjacent settlements from it.
