Air defense systems deployed in LPR capable of ensuring safe dome over republic

"The equipment that is being installed gives a very high guarantee," Apty Alaudinov, commanded of the Akhmat special force and aide to the head of the Chechen Republic said

LUGANSK, November 27. /TASS/. Air defense systems that are being deployed in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) will be able to ensure a safe dome over the region, Apty Alaudinov, commanded of the Akhmat special force and aide to the head of the Chechen Republic, told TASS on Sunday.

"As far as I know, efforts toward this are being taken. We cannot say right now that such a dome exists. <…> The equipment that is being installed gives a very high guarantee," he said.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Friday that Russian air defense systems had intercepted five HIMARS and Olkha rockets and downed four Ukrainian drones in the LPR during the day.
