Ukraine pounds liberated territories of Zaporozhye with HIMARS rockets — politician

MELITOPOL, November 25. /TASS/. The armed forces of Ukraine fired US-made HIMARS rockets towards the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye Region on Thursday, said Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement.

"At approximately 21:52 Moscow time, [Ukrainian troops] shelled the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye Region, using US-made HIMARS MLRS [multiple-launch rocket systems] deployed in residential districts of the administrative center [the Ukrainian-controlled city of Zaporozhye]," the politician wrote on his Telegram channel.

He said that Ukrainian rockets had been launched from densely populated residential areas of the city, but gave no further details of the attack.
