LUGANSK, November 23. /TASS/. Ukrainian military commanders have abandoned plans for a large-scale offensive toward the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) amid unfavorable weather conditions and ammunition supply disruptions, LPR People’s Militia officer Andrey Marochko told TASS on Wednesday.

"Senior Ukrainian commanders have decided to hold back a full-scale military offensive [toward Lugansk] amid bad weather and ammunition supply disruptions. Routine fighting and trench combat is ongoing to expose a gap in our defense," Marochko said.

On Friday, he said Ukrainian troops had moved into a defensive crouch near several locations toward Lugansk due to fatigue.
