Energy operator reports damage to all Ukrainian power plants except three nuclear sites

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said earlier that nearly 50% of the country’s energy system had been disabled

KIEV, November 22. /TASS/. All Ukrainian power plants have been damaged to some degree except for three nuclear power stations, Head of the Ukrenergo National Energy Company Vladimir Kudritsky said on Tuesday.

"We have almost no hydroelectric power stations or thermal power plants left that haven’t been damaged. Except for three nuclear power plants (the Rovno, Khmelnitsky and South Ukraine nuclear power plants - TASS), located in areas controlled by the Ukrainian government, all other major power stations have been damaged since October 10," he said at a briefing at the national media center.
