Russian forces destroy command post in Kherson region — top brass

Enemy losses in that direction amounted to 50 troops killed or wounded

MOSCOW, November 20./TASS/. Russian forces have destroyed a command post of Ukrainian troops in the Kherson region, Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov told a briefing on Sunday.

A command post was destroyed near the settlement of Veseloye in the Kherson region "along with 62 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 153 areas," the spokesman said.

In addition, Russian units thwarted Ukrainian troops’ attempts to counterattack towards the DPR settlements of Slavnoye, Pavlovka, Rovnopol and Vremevka. Enemy losses in that direction amounted to 50 troops killed or wounded. Also, two armored personnel carriers, two armored vehicles and three pickup trucks were destroyed, Konashenkov added.
