MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces have hit an artillery division of the Ukrainian army in the Kharkov Region, which was shelling residential areas of the Belgorod Region, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, told a briefing on Sunday.

"In the counterbattery fight, an artillery division of the 40th Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian army was defeated in the areas of Volchansk and Gatische of the Kharkov Region, which was shelling residential neighborhoods on the territory of the Belgorod Region. Four US-made M777 artillery systems and more than ten Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed," Konashenkov said.
