Russian forces wipe out over 1,000 Ukrainian troops in battle for Pavlovka in DPR

Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Monday that Russian troops had fully liberated the community of Pavlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of heavy combat action

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed as many as 1,400 Ukrainian troops and two Su-25 warplanes in the battle for the community of Pavlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday.

"On November 14, the settlement of Pavlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic was fully liberated as a result of successful offensive operations by Russian troops. During the battles for Pavlovka, Russian troops eliminated as many as 1,400 Ukrainian servicemen, two Su-25 warplanes of the Ukrainian Air Force, a Mi-8 helicopter, 27 infantry fighting vehicles and up to 30 other combat armored vehicles," the spokesman specified.

The Russian military also destroyed six Ukrainian artillery guns, including two US-made M777 howitzers, over 25 vehicles and 28 drones, the general added.

"Russian troops are continuing their offensive," Konashenkov reported.
