MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. The Russian armed forces have repelled two Ukrainian attacks in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy lost up to 110 people, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov told reporters on Sunday.

"In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy with the forces of two tactical groups reinforced by nationalists made two unsuccessful attempts to attack Russian troops in the direction of the village of Novoselovskoye in the Lugansk People's Republic. As a result of artillery and army aviation strikes, the Ukrainian units suffered heavy losses and were pushed back to their initial positions," he said.

Konashenkov also informed that Russian units thwarted attempts of an offensive by two Ukrainian tactical groups in the directions of Vladimirovka and Zmievka settlements of the Lugansk People's Republic. "Total losses of the enemy in the Kupyansk direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 110 servicemen, two tanks, four armored fighting vehicles and six vehicles," the spokesman concluded.
