Over 1,000 foreign mercenaries eliminated in Zaporozhye — politician

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov said that more than 7,000 mercenaries were located in the Kiev-controlled zone of Zaporozhye mainly consisting of Poles and Georgians as well as Chechen militants

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russian aviation and artillery strikes have already eliminated more than 1,000 foreign militants located in the city of Zaporozhye, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said on Thursday.

"Over 1,000 people (foreign mercenaries - TASS) have been eliminated by strikes from Russia’s Aerospace Forces and artillery in the city of Zaporozhye," he told the Soloviev Live TV channel.

The politician also noted that mercenaries from 34 countries are fighting on the side of the Kiev regime. "Along communication [lines], Polish is heard, lots of it, basically it is the prevailing [language]," Rogov said. "There is Georgian and Chechen, and French, and even Arabic already. Arabic is [spoken by militants from] Jabhat al-Nusra (outlawed in Russia - TASS) and Daesh (the Arabic name of the Islamic State terrorist group, also outlawed in Russia - TASS)," he explained.

Earlier, Rogov said that more than 7,000 mercenaries were located in the Kiev-controlled zone of Zaporozhye mainly consisting of Poles and Georgians as well as Chechen militants.

He also expressed an opinion that Ukraine may use armored motorboats supplied by the West in order to cross the Dnieper and attempt to land an assault group on its left bank. "These armored motorboats are clearly not for transporting cargo and people. They are indeed a component for an attack in order to get [them] swiftly to the left bank and launch military operations," the politician added.
