Ukraine’s military suffers several hundred casualties in attempted attack in Kherson area

KHERSON, November 9. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military lost several hundred troops in its failed attempt to attack in three directions in the Kherson Region on November 8, Kherson Region Deputy Governor Kirill Stremousov said on Wednesday.

"A couple of hundreds [of Ukrainian militants] came under fire. There were quite large columns of [advancing] forces," Stremousov said, adding that the attack developed in three directions.

There were many English-and Polish-speaking mercenaries among the advancing forces, he said.
