KHERSON, November 7. /TASS/. The dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant in the Kherson Region, which was struck by the Ukrainian armed forces, is functioning stably, the region's Deputy Governor Kirill Stremousov said on Monday.

"The Kakhovskaya dam is stable," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

On November 6, Stremousov reported that Ukrainian strikes from HIMARS multiple rocket launchers on the Kakhovskaya HPP were carried out during the evacuation of residents of Novaya Kakhovka, located five kilometers down from the hydroelectric power plant dam.
