MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Russian divisions have thwarted the Ukrainian army’s attempted attacks in the Krasny Liman direction, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Sunday.

"In the Krasny Liman direction, the enemy has made unsuccessful attacks towards the settlements of Ploshchanka, Artemovka, Stelmakhovka of the Lugansk People’s Republic and Yampolovka of the Donetsk People's Republic with two battalion tactical groups," he said.

Russia’s strikes eliminated up to 250 Ukrainian servicemen and nationalists, two tanks, four armored combat vehicles, a Grad multiple-launch rocket system, an armored self-propelled gun and 12 cars, Konashenkov added.
