Russian artillery troops, aircraft hit over 270 Ukrainian targets in past day

A Ukrainian command post was hit near Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region and an ammunition and equipment storage site was hit near Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye Region

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russia’s aircraft, artillery and missile forces hit over 270 Ukrainian targets in the past 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"Tactical and army aircraft, as well as missile and artillery forces, hit five Ukrainian command posts, including those of the 15th Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard near Krasny Liman in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Ukraine’s 60th Infantry Brigade near the Vysokopolye, Novaya Kamenka and Chervonoye settlements in the Kherson Region, as well as the firing positions of 87 artillery units, troops and military equipment in 179 areas. A Ukrainian Buk-M1 missile system was destroyed near the Belogorka settlement. An S-300 radar was destroyed near the Novonikolayevka settlement in the Kherson Region. Russian fighter jets downed a Ukrainian MiG-29 plane near the Velikoalexandrovka settlement in the Nikolayev Region," he specified.

According to Konashenkov, a Ukrainian command post was hit near Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region and an ammunition and equipment storage site was hit near Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye Region. Six missile and ammunition depots were destroyed near the Ivanovka settlement in the Kharkov Region, near Slavyansk, Druzhkovka and Krasnoarmeisk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Novaya Kamenka and Petropavlovka in the Kherson Region.
