Russian troops thwart Ukrainian attacks towards Nikolayev, Krivoy Rog - Defense Ministry

According to Igor Konashenkov, over 80 Ukrainian troops were killed

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russian troops thwarted all Ukrainian attacks towards Nikolayev and Krivoy Rog, killing over 80 Ukrainian troops, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"In the Nikolayev and Krivoy Rog direction, two of the enemy’s mechanized infantry companies attacked the positions of Russian forces near the Sablukovka and Sukhanovo settlements in the Kherson Region. All the attacks were thwarted. Russian artillery units, assault and army aircraft defeated the Ukrainian forces," he said.

According to Konashenkov, over 80 Ukrainian troops were killed, three armored combat vehicles and four motor vehicles were destroyed.
