MOSCOW, November 4. /TASS/. Russian air defenses intercepted nine HIMARS and three Uragan rockets in the Kherson Region in the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Friday.

"Nine rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and three shells of the Uragan multiple rocket launcher were intercepted in the area of the settlement of Chernobayevka in the Kherson Region," the spokesman said.

In the past 24 hours, Russian air defense capabilities also shot down four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandrovka in the Kherson Region and Dokuchayevsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the general said.

In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 330 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 168 helicopters, 2,426 unmanned aerial vehicles, 384 surface-to-air missile systems, 6,322 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 882 multiple rocket launchers, 3,551 field artillery guns and mortars and 7,027 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
