MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Russia and Belarus carry out joint military planning within the Union State, Russia’s Defense Minister Army General Sergey Shoigu said at a joint board meeting of the Russian and Belarusian Defense Ministries on Wednesday.
"A joint military doctrine has been adopted and joint military planning is in place, regional groups of forces and also a single air defense system are operational," the defense chief said.
The Russia-Belarus joint board is a key mechanism of bilateral interaction between Moscow and Minsk in the military sphere, Shoigu said.
